MEMBERSHIP QUESTIONS

Q- What benefits do members get?

A-

1. Use our agency services to sell your X-Braand Loyalty points at no charge to members.  
2. Get cashbacks or X-Braand Loyalty points when you purchase a mobile phone recharge credit.  We will give you 35 naira cashback (or 1 X-Braand Loyalty Point) for each 1,000 naira you purchase. (pro rata for each denomination.  For example, 17.50 naira for 500 naira mobile phone recharge card pin credit, 3.50 naira for 100 naira mobile phone recharge credit and so forth).
Members can sell their Loyalty points to us (X-Braand) at an agreed price determined by us at the time of sale or for an agreed percentage of the Grand Prize in the UK Euromillions Lottery or the UK National Lottery for which their points are used to enter by the buyer of the Member's Loyalty points.
Members should contact X-Braand Customer services if they wish to sell their Loyalty points for cash or a percentage of the Grand Prize.
As a condition of the sale, Members will be allowed to pick the numbers to be entered into the lottery draw. Members will be notified if their numbers are the winning numbers in the UK lottery. 3. Fundraise for your charity or good cause  We estimate that a charity or good cause can raise in excess of 8,000,000 naira per annum using our programme. (see our CSR initiative on the following link for details on this http://www.x-braand.com/home/About )
4. Earn income FOR YOURSELF in excess of 1,600,000 naira while working part time or from home (see our CSR initiative on the following link for details on this

5. Buy your mobile phone recharge credits from the comfort of your home or while on 
the go via our website (internet shopping).

6. Get cashbacks when you, your family, friends or acquaintances make purchases from our UK and US sites.


Q- How much is the annual membership fee?

A-Membership is free. There is no annual charge except when you upgrade to our Premium membership. Premium Membership costs 20,800 naira for 6 months. Members can spread the cost over 6 months at 3,468 Naira per month or weekly at 800 naira per week. Members will get 416 loyalty points if they pay 20,800 naira, 34.67 loyalty points if they pay 3,468 naira and 16 loyalty points if they pay 800 naira (and pro rata for other amounts paid).

Q- Can I give my membership details to someone else so they can get
cashbacks, Loyalty points and purchases on my behalf?


A-Yes you can do this but note that it is your responsibility if your account is misused in any way ( such as lottery entries made, recharge cards bought without your knowledge, bets placed etc) so make sure you give your membership details to responsible people.

Alternatively you can ask someone to register as a member, but get them to ask us to give all their benefits ( such as Loyalty points,
purchases, cashbacks etc), to you. Ask our customer service team for more information on this. Click here for customer service information.


Q-Do I need a credit/debit card to be a member?

A- No.  


X-BRAAND RECHARGE CREDITS?

Q- What are X-Braand recharge credits?

A- X-Braand Recharge credits are a form of cash which you can use to purchase recharge card pin credits via our website (internet shopping).
You obtain X-Braand recharge credits by depositing funds in our bank account and then e-mailing or texting us to let us know (you can text to either of the numbers listed above). The funds will then be allocated to you and will be visible in your My Account section of the website. These funds can be returned to you at anytime you wish (just let us know), but we will deduct an administration charge of 5% of the value you want us to transfer back to you (see example above). We will also give you loyalty points based on the value of the recharge credits you have purchased based on what you deposited into our account.   You can then complete the purchase of your mobile phone recharge card pin credits via our website through  internet shopping. Or you can complete the purchase purchase by emailing or texting us the value of MTN or Etisalat recharge credit you require, and the mobile phone number you want us to transfer the credits to.

You can also purchase X-Braand recharge credits by paying with your credit/debit card via our website (Note that we only accept cards issued in Nigeria at present). by using your debit or credit card. To do so, go to our homepage and click on the amount of X-Braand recharge credits you want to purchase then check out and pay with your card. The purchased X-Braand recharge credits will then be allocated to your account where you can view how you use them. The payment you made on your debit or credit card can be returned to you at anytime you wish (just let us know), but we will deduct an administration charge of 5% of the value you want us to transfer back to you (see example above). We will also give you loyalty points based on the value of the recharge credits you have purchased by credit/debit card.

HOW TO PURCHASE MOBILE PHONE RECHARGE CARD PIN CREDITS

Q- How do I purchase mobile phone recharge card pin credits?

A- You can purchase mobile phone recharge card pin credits by:

1. Shopping on our website using a credit/ debit card or X-Braand recharge credits (Note that we only accept cards issued in Nigeria at present.  Contact us for cards issued in other countries. Our UK site uses Paypal which can be used for debit/credit/amex cards).

2. E-mail OR Text Message (SMS).


1. SHOPPING ON OUR WEBSITE
1. Go to our home page and log on if you want your purchase to be stored as a record in your account area and Loyalty points allocated to the transaction or cashbacks given back to you for the transaction.

If you don't require this, then continue from point 2 below.

2. When on homepage, select the product you require by clicking on "buy now". You will be taken to a page where the product you've selected is listed.  You can increase the quantity here or remove the product from your shopping list by putting 0 as your required quantity.  Click on UPDATE if you change the quantity.

3. Click on PRODUCT LIST to continue shopping and select more or different products
or select CHECKOUT then CONTINUE to carry on and pay with your credit or debit card or X-Braand recharge credits from your account.  

For Visa cards, make sure your visa credit or debit card is set up for internet banking and is registered for VbV (Verified by Visa).  Speak to your issuing bank if you are not sure your card is set up for internet banking and/or verified by visa. (Note that we only accept cards issued in Nigeria at present.  We will start accepting cards issued in the United States and Europe very soon).

4. On the checkout page check the purchased items, select your method of payment - that is X-Braand recharge credits from your account, or credit or debit card provider, accept our Terms and conditions of purchasing  and then complete your payment by entering your credit or debit card details if paying with a card.  There is a 3% credit/debit card charge.  THERE IS NO CHARGE IF YOU ARE USING X-BRAAND RECHARGE CREDITS (see above for information on how to get X-Braand recharge credits).

5. Once payment is accepted you will be taken to a page confirming the transaction and giving you instructions on how to get your mobile phone recharge card pin credits. .  For members an e-mail will also be sent to your registered address and you can view records of your purchase in your My Account section.  You can also send the pin to an e-mail address of your choice.

Non members can input an e-mail address at this stage and send an e- mail to themselves with details of their purchase and pin.  Non-members can't access the My Account section, neither can they pay with X-Braand recharge credits.

If payment is declined, none of the above will occur.


All Interswitch and Visa branded cards are accepted.  (Note that we only accept cards issued in Nigeria at present.  We will start accepting cards issued in the United States and Europe very soon).  

Interswitch cards have a maximum limit of 20,000 Naira per transaction. Visa cards do not have a limit and you can purchase an unlimited amount with your X-Braand recharge credits.


2. PURCHASING BY E-MAIL OR TEXT MESSAGE (SMS)

To purchase by e-mail or text message (SMS) you will need to first purchase X-Braand recharge credits.  See X-Braand recharge credits section above for how to purchase credits. 

Once you have enough X-Braand recharge credits for your purchase, send an e-mail to: customerservices@x-braand.co.uk

OR TEXT TO: 0 8 1 6 121 4562 (for MTN users) and 0 8 1 8 115 9311 (for Etisalat users) with the following information:

1. Your Added Value Programme Number

2. One character from your username

3. One character from your password

4. Card type (MTN or Etisalat)

5. Value

6. Quantity

7. The mobile phone number you want us to transfer to

EXAMPLE: for a 1,500 Naira MTN recharge card.  Send the following e-mail or text:

Your mobile phone PIN credit will be transferred to your phone immediately. 

THERE ARE NO CHARGES FOR PURCHASING RECHARGE CARDS FROM US BY E-MAIL OR TEXT.


Q-Do I need to be a registered member to purchase a mobile phone recharge card pin credit?

A- No, you can purchase mobile phone recharge card pin credits without being a member of X-Braand. However you will not get any Loyalty points for your purchase.
Also, you will not be able to view a history of your purchases.
However you will need to be registered to buy X-Braand recharge credits.


Q-Do I need to pay my membership fees?

A- No. You only pay when you upgrade to our Premium Membership.

Membership fees can be paid via our website using your credit/debit card (just like when you purchase recharge credits as above, but just select the Premium Membership period you wish to pay for - Annual, Monthly or Weekly), X-Braand recharge credits, payment into our account at Sterling Bank, or by sending us an e-mail or text.

When doing so by e-mail or text make sure you have enough X-Braand recharge credits, then send your e-mail to: customerservices@x-braand.co.uk and your text to 0 8 1 6 1 2 1 4 5 6 2 or 0 8 1 8 1 1 5 9 3 1 1 with the following information:

1. Added Value Programme number:

3. One character from your password

4. Membership fee

This will be actioned by us immediately.  


LOYALTY POINTS

Q- How do I get Loyalty points?

A- A member gets Loyalty points each time they purchase X-Braand recharge credits. 500 naira equals 0.5 Loyalty points 1000 naira equals 1 Loyalty point,1500 naira equals 1.5 Loyalty points, 2000 naira equals 2 Loyalty points and so on. Members also get Loyalty Points when they purchase our Premium membership. Premium Membership costs 20,800 naira for 6 months. Members can spread the cost over 6 months at 3,468 Naira per month or weekly at 800 naira per week. Members will get 416 loyalty points if they pay 20,800 naira, 34.67 loyalty points if they pay 3,468 naira and 16 loyalty points if they pay 800 naira (and pro rata for other amounts paid). Members can also get Loyalty points by converting the cashbacks they (or their friends, family or acquaintances) get from shopping on our UK and US sites into points. Members should contact us if they wish to convert cashbacks to Loyalty points.

We will first convert the foreign currency to Naira using the Western Union rate on the day, then convert the Naira into Loyalty points at a rate of 500 Naira to 0.5 X-Braand Loyalty points.


Q- What are Loyalty points used for?

A- Members can convert their Loyalty points to X-Braand recharge credits (cashback) at a rate of 35 naira per Loyalty point.  The X-Braand recharge credits (cashback) will be added to their account.

Members can also sell their Loyalty points to us (X-Braand) at an agreed price determined by us at the time of sale OR for an agreed percentage of the Grand Prize in the UK Euromillions Lottery or the UK National Lottery for which their points are used to enter by the buyer of the Member's Loyalty points. Members should contact X-Braand Customer services if they wish to sell their Loyalty points for cash or a percentage of the Grand Prize. As a condition of the sale, Members will be allowed to pick the numbers to be entered into the lottery draw. Members will be notified if their numbers are the winning numbers in the UK lottery. Note that if Members are selling for a percentage of the Grand Prize in the UK Euromillions or National Lottery, they will need to sell 16 loyalty points per each entry. For the avoidance of doubt, one set of numbers entered is one entry, which requires 16 loyalty points.

When Members are selecting their numbers for entry, they should do the following: 1. For Euromillions, select 5 numbers from 1 to 50 and 2 Lucky Stars from 1 to 11 and the date you want them to be entered. 2. For the lottery (lotto), select 6 numbers from 1 to 49. and the date you want them to be entered. 3. Send the entry to us by email to customerservices@x-braand.co.uk with the following as part of your email:

3. One character from your password

We will then email you back confirming if your sale/entry has been accepted.

Q- Can I receive cashbacks for transactions done on X-Braand's UK and US websites?

A- Yes you can as long as your username and password are used to log on before the transaction is done. X-Braand will pay Cashbacks to members 60 days after the transaction which generated it.
